There is a place called 'Daigokuden' in Kaide-cho in Muko City.
It was established more than 1200 years ago. The name of the place is the same today as it was when it was built. Emperor Daigokuden was in power.
The exact location has been confirmed by investigatory excavations.
In 1964 the Nagaokakuu Daigokuden remains were designated as a National historical ruin and are now maintained as Daigokuden Park.
