Remains of Nagaoka-kyo Touin
Touin was used as a temporary center for politics Naidai for Emperor Kanmu in the period two years before he relocated the capital to Heian-kyo.
The large remains of Touin were excavated while building the Muko City hot water swimming pool. It has been renovated at the corner of the now completed pool.
Yet is easy to imagine a picture of those far off days from this place.
