At the end of the Kamakura Period, it is said that Nichizou Shounin built a hall by the 'Sekitouba of Hokkedaimoku' in front of Muko Shrine. Nichizou Shounin called this temple 'Sekitou Temple'. On 3rd May every year, at the time of flower festival, the citizens dedicate a dance called the 'Kaide Daimoku Odori' at this temple.
